This cape is made from a tanned Red Deer (Cervus elaphus) hide. It is fastened with Bison leather ties and an ancient metal ring (a European artifact found via metal detector). Ties are adjustable on both sides.
The cloak is unlined and would make an excellent accent to any garb. Very striking coloration of reddish brown, with borders of dark rust, and a light cream back panel with tail. This rugged skin is thick and of moderate weight, perfect for the battle-hard warrior or shield maiden!
Measures around 57" long by 18" wide in the center back. Like most deer hides, stag fur will shed.
