This garment is made from a tanned Elk hide. It is fastened with Bison leather ties and an ancient metal ring (a European artifact found via metal detector). Ties are adjustable on both sides. The mantle is unlined and would make an excellent accent to any garb. Color is light brown. This skin is thick and of moderate weight, perfect for the battle-hard warrior or shield maiden! It has a few small spots where the hair is worn off, which only helps to give it a rugged look.
Measures around 41" long by 14" wide at the narrowest point in back. Like most deer hides, elk fur will shed.
