This is the rear part of a female Canadian Grey Wolf pelt, tanned about 20 years ago. The leather has numerous small holes. There are some weak points and some dry areas that were not tanned well.
The heavy fur is a lovely light brown to cream with black-tipped guard hair on the center back.
Despite the age the skin is still sewable if you wanted to reinforce it with something.
Measures 41" across the rear legs, and 4.5" at the narrowest point in the center. Shown with a 36 inch ruler.
